Daniel Broadhead:

Daniel Broadhead obtained a warrant for his 600-acre tract of land on April 5th, 1737.  The property was surveyed by surveyor Nicholas Scull on 20 December 1737.  Subdivided into four equal parts for Daniel, Garret, John and Luke Broadhead, the family lived along what came to be called the Brodhead Creek next to their neighbor, Jacob Stroud.  Immediately to their north resided John Starbird (likely the John Starr recorded in the ledger) and Simon Wetherel (perhaps the Simon Westfall noted in the ledger).
